Family-run Lake Arrowhead-based internet bookstore is hiring.
This is an ad for one of two positions we are currently hiring for, please see General Labor job categories for other position:
Full-time book processor / lister (processing and listing books for sale on the internet, including assessment of condition and writing of descriptions): This would be ideal for an individual who is self-motivated and autonomous -- and who loves books. Extreme attention to detail is an absolute necessity, as is a desire to get jobs done quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
Knowledge of common book titles, authors and book categories.
Strong accurate 10-key skills.
Typing 35+ words per minute.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Strong English reading and writing skills, including knowledge of punctuation and grammar.
The ability to write neatly and legibly.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Knowledge of computer operating systems and web browsers and the ability to get around common computer software quickly and easily. Some troubleshooting skills would be helpful.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds, and the ability to stand up all day is necessary.
Must have a valid CA Driver's License.
