Last year, we heard rumors about the possible closure of the ASUS Zenfone division. However, the company vehemently denied the report and said that it is also committed to the Zenfone and ROG smartphone series. It seems that the company is now on the way to launch the Zenfone 11 , the successor of the Zenfone 10 . The phone was spotted on the Google Play Console by the folks over at 91Mobiles . It looks very similar to the previous model (see image above), but this time it has a selfie-centric camera. The listing Fax Lists confirms that the Zenfone 11 has an octa-core Qualcomm SM8650 CPU, internally codenamed Snapdragon 8 Gen3 . However, the GPU mentioned in the listing is not the Adreno 750 that is in the latest flagship chip, but the Adreno 830 that is expected. Snapdragon 8 Gen4 . It is difficult to say why there is a discrepancy in the list. It only makes sense for ASUS to choose the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for this year's flagship instead of the next-gen Qualcomm SoC. Maybe the listing is wrong or maybe ASUS plans to launch the Zenfone 11 only after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 becomes official. It's hard to say at this point. The listing also reveals that the Zenfone 11 will get 16GB of RAM and Android 14 on board. The screen resolution may remain the same as the Zenfone 10 at 2,400 x 1,080 (FHD+). Meanwhile, it seems that ASUS is also working on a device called Zenfone 11 Ultra . We spotted a Bluetooth SIG listing for the phone back in December, but the listing didn't hint at any details beyond the model number, Bluetooth 5.4 support, and possible Qualcomm silicon.
